Step-by-Step Download Instructions

Visit installturbotax.org

Open your web browser and navigate to installturbotax.org to access the official download page.

Select Your TurboTax Version

Choose the appropriate TurboTax version based on your tax situation:

TurboTax Free Edition: Simple tax returns
TurboTax Deluxe: Homeowners and deductions
TurboTax Premier: Investments and rental property
TurboTax Self-Employed: Small business owners

Click the Download Button

Click the Download Now button for your selected version. The download will begin automatically.

Save the Installer

Choose a location on your computer to save the installer file. We recommend saving it to your Desktop or Downloads folder for easy access.

Verify the Download

Once the download is complete, locate the installer file and verify that it downloaded completely. The file should have a .exe extension for Windows or .dmg for Mac.

Troubleshooting Download Issues

If your download doesn't start:
